Cidrerie Michel Jodoin - Rougemont

Very nice location and friendly people. Cider products are of very high quality. They even gave us a great recommendation for a nearby lunch place.

Second time in Cidrerie Michel Jodoin and I am so satisfied with my visit as I was the first time. We did not choose the guided tour that I did and found very informative, but we went directly to the cedar tasting that was a world-class experience. Our hostess was exclusively amazing as soon as she found out that we don't like sweet lemons, she changed the bottles that were selected for tasting with some others that are closer to our preferences. The result were two very happy faces and many wow calls. Of course we bought some decent amount of bottles for home and to share an extra small of crispy hopes infused cider on the terrace. And what a terrace it is, beautiful view of the area from the bottom of the hill. If you are more active on Sunday, you can benefit from the hiking trail that brings you to an even better viewpoint. There are also picnic tables in the orchards, perfect for a snack and a bottle of delicious apple wine.

Anatomically, the liver is a special organ. It detoxifies things, aids in digestion (prob my fave physical function, and is found only in animals with backbones. Livers even taste good (ILY foie gras). Livers are big and pink is quite, so generally, drinking alcohol in moderation is recommended. But. If I chose a cedar to drink to absurd Dionysian surplus, the cedar of Mssr. Michel Jodoin are in my top 3 of FUCKING GREAT CRAFT CIDERS, which I am buying in the case when I visit my beloved MTL and choose to participate in an abusive relationship with my liver. Correction: The liver is a very special organ. The liver is the only visceral organ with the magical ability to regenerate. New livers for everyone!

While I was familiar with their citizens, I bought them for summer pick-nic's I only heard from this place when I was looking for a nice hike, the dog is friendly. Yeah, you heard a hike. This is a fantastic apple wine place, they give a free tour that teaches about the history of the place and a great cedar teasing session free as well. They also have a puppet picnic area with tables and sometimes they bring a band and also sell food. And how many places in the area they have apple picks. But get back to the hike, its hard to find a dog friendly hike in Quebec (I have no idea why), for 3$ p/p (they trust you to tell them and pay) you can have a nice hike, not too hard, which is shaded and show you some beautiful views. The path starts next to her house from the picnic area, so I suggest starting with the tour, going for the hike and ending in a picnic with her big cedar. This is really a place for everyone!

In case you'd like to have more active Sunday then us you may wish to profit from the hiking trail that will bring you up to an even better view point.
