Wanted a sandwich and a coffee. Going to Chateau de Bridoire but nearby boulangerie closed and restaurant full. L'Auberge was handy with delicious baguettes with ham and cheese and creamy cappuccinos. Very pleasant service. View all feedback.

I should have listened to the reviewer who said that the coq au vin was below parIt wasMy husband was unhappy.
Love the location, liked the foie gras, thought the coq au vin was below par. Super nice manager. Still, go elsewhere.
Friendly host (cheekily forgiving of my iffy grasp of French vocab) made us feel most welcomeVery good home made soup starter and HUGE plates of delicious Moules and frites more than satisfied the four of us.Ignore the location and lack of finery, the hospitality and great grub more than make up for it.
