OK, so it's not the best place to eat in Rouen, but you can't beat a place where the owner/chef (?) has been dedicated to churning out Rouenais specialties at a consistent rate of speed and quality for many years now. It's a charming little hole-in-the-wall bistro in the middle of a very touristy part of Rouen, and the food is very country-French. They'll even give you a shot of that Rouen rum that has been marinating with fruit and spices on top of the counter at the end of your meal. You leave feeling full and happy.

A very pleasant reception in an atypical setting, the card (restreinte) promises a good quality of product. simple but good dishes, which make it back to the urge to have a good little meal.
