Au Verre Dit Vin - Rouen

What a delightful bar to stumble across,right in the centre of Rouen opposite the Hotel Dandy. Any wine open or not is sold by the glass,what a superb selection of French quality wines. Cannot wait to return to Rouen again.

Endroit agréable pour un moment sympa...accueil sympa... Salle au sous sol vraiment accueillante et intime...

Ayant testé ce bar à vin il y a un an, je l'avais trouvé très bien. Bons vins, planches de qualité et ambiance agréable.J'y suis retourné aujourd'hui, et là grosse déception. Musique d'ambiance electro, les planches sont faites avec des produits premier prix, et on m'a conseillé du Medoc de Bourgogne et du Pic Saint Loup de Loire - un comble pour un bar à vins...Bref grosse déception, je n'y remettrais pas les pieds

I stumbled on this gem while I was looking for a place to eat in Rouen last weekend. I was by myself and all of the restaurants in the area were fairly filled...and then the charming glow from Au Verre Dit Vin fairly beckoned me in to sit, drink and enjoy a slate of delicious paté, foie gras, jambon and a selection of some gorgeous regional cheeses. The place is the definition of "quaint wine bar" and also has a sweet little cave under the restaurant for more convivial get-togethers. Next time, I'm trying their dinner "planchas" which look gorgeous.

3 choix de vins en vin rouge donc un peu limite pour un bar qui s'appelle "Au verre dit vin"...Service sympathique et cadre correct. Planche fromage/charcuterie correcte mais là également la qualité n'est pas au rendez-vous.
