During... read more I’ve visited Osteria Vicini several times before, and my previous experiences were always excellent. Everything from the service to the food was spot on. During my most recent visit, however, the service was noticeably slower than usual. We waited around 40 minutes for our food, which was longer than expected and slightly disappointing. That said, the food was delicious as always. Despite the delay, I still think it’s a great place and worth visiting.

When we entered no one came to the door or made us sit; after waiting for 5 minutes there and seeing the staff chatting we asked if we could sit wherever we wanted and they told us that we could only sit at the bar and not at the restaurant. We asked if we could have dinner and they told us yes but we should have sit at the bar anyways. After we sat, a waiters came to us and said we should have ordered in 5 min because it was late. When we tried to ordered some starters they said to us we couldnt because it was late. Anyways, we got 3 pasta and 1 pizza and the food was really good. We got ravioli di zucca e ricotta, linguine ai gamberetti and one pizza margherita. The pasta was delicious and it was fresh. The filling of the ravioli also tasted so good! As for the pizza it was okay but personally i would suggest ordering pasta. We also got dessert: babà, tiramisu, lava cake and appeltart. Also the dessert were all good. The restaurant also looked very nice. The only reason why i domt give 5 stars is the way in which the service was handled at first; i understand we arrived late (i also work in the service sector) but if u dont want us to sit just tell us instead of rushing us and making us sit in the bar where we had to ask for cutlery. Anyways, i really reccomand this restaurant and we are going to come back 100%!

It may look small from the outside, but once you step in, it’s a very pleasant surprise—the atmosphere inside is warm, cozy, and inviting. The food is good, the service is great and genuinely friendly, and the pizza is absolutely delicious. The desserts are also a must—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to finish your meal. A lovely spot for a relaxed, quality Italian experience
