The food... read more Exceptional bad experience. We have extensive experience with Michelin Star restaurants. This was incomparable for any other star restaurant. Very bad. The food was good, but the times were very good. Extremely long duration and it seemed like we were part of a conveyor belt. All customers waited without food, drinks or service. We had to wait 3.5 hours for our main course and sat without food or drinks for over 1 hour at a time. Comments and questions were answered aggressively by the cook and his staff seemed intimidated like me. He declared openly that we were bistro material and unworthy of his restaurant. That was unfair and very humiliating. I'm sorry for other customers and his staff.

I really enjoyed my meal here (which is already some time ago now), the food and wine was paired beautifully although one of the dishes wasn't thought through e... read more I really enjoyed my meal here (which is already some time ago now), the food and wine was paired beautifully although one of the dishes wasn't thought through enough and did not reach the two-michelin star standard.It was the scallop with bacon and chicory, and as a result of this combination you couldn't really taste the delicate flavour of the scallop, nonetheless it was all perfectly cooked, one of my personal favourites was one of the appetizers, a small ice cone made from pickles with a tomato filling, I had never seen something like that before but because it was delicious I hope I will. The service really gave me a welcome feeling while still maintaining a feeling of sophistication and excellency. The setting is very beautiful with a lovely view of the Maas, however I have one comment about the choice of art. As most men I enjoy looking at skimpily woman, but when I'm having a meal I am not so keen on that. But having this as my only comment on the scenery, I still enjoyed my meal from the first to the last bite.

From entry where the waiter asked multiple times if I was sure I had booked the correct restaurant to the long waiting times between dishes, I left feeling unsatisfied. The actual meals itself was nice but wasn’t anything i found particularly amazing and for the price, the food most definitely did not meet the standards for what I paid. I ordered the 7 courses and it seemed instead of making good quality food , they focused on being pretentious by showing off that the food was all grown in foreign countries and imported. I would say to avoid as you can get much better food for a much lower price where you won’t be in the restaurant for 4 hours waiting 30 minutes for a course which can be finished in 20 seconds. Finally, I’d also mention how some meals were simply bad and did not taste well, but paying €270 for my meal alone i felt inclined to eat what i’m paying so much money for and each course has a similar taste so there isn’t any variety within the meal. Left totally dissatisfied and would not recommend anyone to choose to dine here
