What Jana Hudson doesn't like about Monte Lago:
the previous cactus, which is now called monte lago, has been refurbished and expanded. there are very good food, but not as cheap as before. the prices were raised and was adjusted to rottacher conditions. the only disturbing so far is the personal to which one notices that there are unskilled waiters. but this will certainly be better with time. After we have eaten in montelago for the third time, it will be time to write a few words: at our first and last visit we had a pizza and one to two drinks. the service was very friendly and accommodating and the ordered drinks stood after a few minutes on the table. also the waiting time until the food was standing on the table, went very fast. our pizzas were very good, I would like to say almost on a stage with our favorite Italian. also the backhendl and Caesars salad, at our second visit were very delicious. Extra wishes/changes were not a problem. the cappuccino can hold on my italian. the prices are quite ok for the tegernsee. if they still remember that the montelago warm kitchen offers from 12 o'clock to 21 o'clock 30, which nowadays is a rare thing in the tegernseer valley, it is worth 5 stars. we are happy to come back!

I ordered a pizza, my friend ordered a hamburger. both were very good. the price was ok. service was friendly and fast. the place is clean.
Was looking for a place with a terrace, as the weather was beautiful. they had a good choice of options here-pizza, burger, schinitzel, auberginen cordon bleu, etc. I went with dolmas (sticked grape leaves) and they were the best I had! homemade Tsatziki sauce, a carrot...hummus over cut zucchini with a few olives. a refreshing change of all the heavy German foods.
We had our first meal here and the food was nice. there is a sitting area for only drinks, but we should be fair to have eaten twice here. great staff.
