I dined at the restaurant on Saturday and Sunday with different friends, and both experiences were enjoyable. The staff was very attentive, particularly Scott, who was quite helpful. On Saturday, I had the delicious sea bass, and on Sunday, I tried the festive prix fixe menu, which offered three courses for just £12.99. Delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, complete with a beautiful open fire! It's the perfect cozy spot for chilly winter days!
The atmosphere was lackluster and the staff were unfriendly; it felt more enjoyable in a morgue.
Compared to other amber pubs, the portion sizes here are less generous, yet the prices remain the same.
Expensive but on the doorstep. Tables in beer gardens need replacing.
