We went there regularly and really enjoyed having such a great local pub...but boy as it gone down hill...badly managed in my opinion. The outside TV exemplifies what I mean: who with any forethought or genuine consideration for its customer would have an oustide TV yhay can only be seen on days when you wouldn't want to sit outside. A great local pub with very friendly staff. A great place for a lunch with the family, or a stop off with the dogs on a walk, everyone is welcome.
Took the family for food and to watch football, always brilliant offers on food and drink at the Gate Inn, staff are always accommodating and friendly, well worth a visit if your in the area!!!
Been for food today, wow !! Best mixed grill I’ve tasted ! Deffo recommend! And we will be back next Monday for the same!!
Came with the kids. We had 2 main meals for under a tenner and the kids meals were £1 each. Great service from the blonde barmaid and the food was excellent. Will definitely be coming back.
Went for an easy dinner ,it was just that the food was good ,nice atmosphere will be coming back ,friendly people and staff
