more attractive from outside than inside, but as with all spoons a great pint and beautiful staff. the toilets however need some attention, very few worked and they were not very clean. park a hill at the back of the pub, but limited to an hour for pay and show for £1. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Bluecoat:
Don't know what has happened to this place, used to be one of my favourite Wetherspoons but not now. It had a negative feel as soon as entering I don't know if it is because the other spoons has now shut in Rotherham but it wasn't a good experience, the tables were dirty.tried 3 all the same we took our leave View all feedback.

It was a shock to discover that our previously feared irrigation hole, the corn law was closed and recently de-enigrated by a fire, but the friendly and friendly local police led us to the blue coat, a charity school built 1776, now lovingly received by jd wetherspoons, continue the social thema with ruddles ale at 99p a pint. great pub. faster, friendly service to travel, they can afford. usual excellent wetherspoons food available.
Eating and drinking too great to praise, nowadays many places can not get a pint of 2 pounds.
It's a good pub, gets busy on football match days though. Food is decent as are the drinks. It's a wetherspoons but on of the better ones in the area.
Visited 1pm today with quite a large group of friends, 20 of us. Everything was spot on, all the food was freshly cooked arrived quite quickly. Great service from all the staff. Highly recommended. Keep up the great work .
