The chips and Mushy peas were average, hard to get wrong really. However the fish not so good. The batter was crispy on outside then wet and slimy inside, looked horrible. It also contained the thinnest piece of fish. It cost £10.30 clearly not worth it. However the service and drinks were good. But as we mainly went for food 2* rating for me. Should have been a sign when only a handful of people were in pub.

Supposed to be mobility friendly but my wife had to get out of her wheelchair 3 times before we got to the room which was at the end of a long narrow corridor, bathroom had a tiny sink with no plug, light above not working, no toilet roll holders, no rubber mats in shower so very slippery, difficult to get into shower not much room, we couldn't control the shower water heater, very hot or boiling was the choice, we heard other people complaining about that, extractor fan not working, light above beds not working, carpet badly stained, bottom of beds stained, no electric plugs except for one if you moved a heavy side cupboard out, couldn't fill kettle as sink was too small to get it in.
