I booked a table a few weeks ahead for a Sunday Roast as was having a break for a few days in the area. Arrived for our booked table for 3pm to be told they were no longer serving. So we went away hungry and could not find anywhere else in the area at short notice. I told the lady behind the bar we booked a table at 3pm….she was just staring at me!! The 2nd time we've been here and didn't disappoint again. Friendly atmosphere, good staff and good quality food at a sensible price. Will definitely come again.
This place is a home away from home, with a warm and friendly atmosphere and attentive staff who make you feel like family. The food is fantastic, with options for every taste, and the beer selection is impressive. But what truly sets this pub apart is the genuine warmth and camaraderie that you feel when you're there. It's a community that embodies the best of British hospitality, and it's waiting for you to join it. Highly recommended. (Sirloin steak was truly next level! My son brought his guitar ans was playing after we finished eating.. A Great evening!
Great food! Stayed at a nearby hotel, enjoyed a couple of meals here. Friendly and helpful staff. Good range of meals and a fair price. Would go again if were back in the area.
The entire staff at this restaurant were amazing, extremely kind and friendly. The meals we had over three days were impeccable for our group of five colleagues. We would definitely visit again. There is also a pool table available for those who enjoy playing. We would give more stars if possible.
The food here is really good, and there are plenty of pool games to be played. The staff is extremely friendly, making this the best pub in the area. The locals are also very welcoming and friendly. This pub is definitely a must-visit.
