Description

Nestled in the countryside, this charming pub offers a mix of delightful ambiance and friendly service, complemented by an extensive menu and reasonable prices. While many patrons rave about the vibrant atmosphere, attentive staff, and quality meals, experiences have varied significantly. Some diners have reported disappointing dishes, with undercooked kebabs and lackluster burgers, while others praised the generous portion sizes and flavorful offerings. New management has received mixed reviews regarding engagement with customers, but overall, families and dog owners are welcomed with open arms. The establishment also boasts ample parking, children’s play areas, and outdoor seating, making it a great stop for all.

We booked here for a nice meal... reviews were very good, we had a lovely time. The food was nice and the service even better. Family run and very friendly. Darryl and Kim made us feel very welcome and it was lovely to sit after our meal for a good chat by the fire. Definitely recommend. Coco the dog is lovely too, thanks for having us And we'll Definitely be back

We came for some food and it was great. The owners are really friendly. If you get steak and get to meet Coco the dog, she’ll love you forever.

I had the Cherry Tree burger. The actual burger looked and tasted like an Iceland economy burger. Add a few oven chips, a small pot of coleslaw and charge £15. Not good.

Just popped in for a pint of Harvey's and it was spot-on, exactly what I wanted. Landlord and Landlady really nice and friendly.

Really lovely country pub with friendly staff that are very easy to chat to and offer top notch service. Excellent menu with quality food. Decent amount of parking available, and is walking distance from the village in case there aren't any spaces left. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, and a children's play area is on site too. TVs for live sports/music inside, and a darts area. I had The Cherry Tree Stacker burger, it's not often I'm beaten by the size of a meal so you definitely get your money's worth! Flavour was well balanced throughout, and the chips and coleslaw that comes with it were nice too. There is also a decent selection of drinks at reasonable prices.
