I was in rye for the evening and wanted a lovely bottle of wine for our hotel room. We ended up getting two glasses each and ended up with three bottles. The wine was excellent and the owner was very knowledgeable and welcoming. I highly recommend this place. View all feedback.

It is a wine bar that actually knows about wine and happily will walk you through their impressive selection.
Having read the reviews I was really disappointed. The wine was ok but it’s clearly a place for locals. We went to The Grapevine and had a much more pleasant and welcoming experience with a great choice of wines. Fabulous environment with perfect music.
Excellent and hospitable wine bar with a varied selection I sampled a couple of grapes I'd never heard of before. The owner Danny is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I highly recommend paying a visit.
We popped in to this little gem last night as we had a dinner booking round the corner we were too early for. Danny was really welcoming and made sure we got seats at the bar. We asked for a fruity red and he found...us three different wines we’d never tried before an Italian, a Greek and a South African. He clearly knows his stuff and was happy to chat in between serving the regulars it’s obviously a popular place! We felt genuinely welcomed, we enjoyed all the different wines which were very reasonably priced and when we return to Rye we will definitely make a return visit thanks for a great experience!
