Diners can indulge in freshly cooked meals, from hearty breakfast options like eggs Benedict to Mediterranean quiches, all complemented by friendly and attentive service. The outdoor seating provides a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying coffee and an array of delicious pastries, including gluten-free options. While some may prefer table service over queueing to order, the overall experience is marked by great food, a welcoming vibe, and a commitment to quality, making it a must-visit for locals and travelers alike.
The lunch was truly delightful, exactly as we ordered. The menu had great options to choose from, and the location was charming. The food arrived promptly after ordering, and the staff were very friendly.
This is a deceptive cafe as much bigger inside than you may think! Great coffee and huge range of cakes and scones including gluten free. Gluten free cherry cake superb! Would prefer it if you could be served at the table rather than queuing up to order but that is just a personal preference. Cafe sits near the abbey. Would return!
I had a fantastic breakfast at this restaurant where you can choose your own dishes. The food was freshly cooked and the coffee was excellent. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. It was quite busy at 9.30am, but it's a great spot to meet up with friends.
Lovely venue deceptively huge! The deli looks tasty! Drinks were great and fairly priced. This is a fantastic location opposite the Anbey and carpark. Would recommend.
Visited today and treated my friend to lunch for her birthday, it was a lovely day so we sat outside, we both chose a Mediterranean quiche with a choice of two salads plus a side salad, it was absolutely delicious. Friendly staff, would highly recommend if you are visiting Battle.
