Sixth Railway Grill - Rosthern
Sixth Railway Grill
Description
The Cork and Kettle in Rosthern offers a unique dining experience in a former bank building. The decor may be lacking, with uncomfortable seating in most booths, but there are a few tables with upholstered chairs. The food is good with generous portions, such as the fish & chips and harvest salad. The restaurant is conveniently located across from the Station Arts Centre. While some visitors have experienced issues with the accuracy of the restaurant's hours on Google, others have praised the atmosphere, food, and service. With offerings ranging from wings to yam fries and a variety of drinks, as well as accommodating larger groups for special events like school reunions, Cork and Kettle is a local favorite for both residents and visitors. Whether you're looking for a Friday rib night special or a relaxing place to enjoy pizza and burgers with friendly service, this small-town gem has something for everyone. A jukebox on the wall adds to the charm, making it a must-visit spot for those passing through Rosthern.

I have always loved the Sixth Railway Grill! But I absolutely adore the look and the service at the Cork Kettle! The food and the Caesar salads are also fantastic!
Ricky welcomed us and brought out a spectacular Caesar to drink while we decided on supper. Both the Veal cutlets and mushroom Swiss burger were hot, fresh and delicious ?. We will be back!!
The burgers and wraps are excellent, and the beer is super cold. The staff is friendly and attentive.
Tasty food for a good price! My group came in for a late lunch and had a mix of some burgers and wraps. Wrap was really tasty and filling, and I love that it was grilled (pictured is my chicken Caesar salad wrap fries, already half eaten). A bit dirty and drab decor without much of a theme, but then again it’s a small town restaurant so we were more than happy with the good food as that’s ultimately what’s most important. Would have lunch here again when out in Rosthern.
