A wonderful way to stay the day in a beautiful setting! The service is impeccable and the food excellent and importantly the coffee is spot on. So for the coffee aficionados I highly recommended it. Ask for a table next to the window and you will have wonderful views over Adelaide! We had been on a walk and stopped half way to have breakfast and to celebrate a birthday. Highly recommend!! Looking forward to a lovely lunch in a really beautiful environment. Great space, initially good service. The slow cooked lamb with broccolini was such a disappointment. Dry meat, undercooked AND over cooked broccolini. Flavour bland and seemingly without anyinterest by the cook. They could not have tasted this dish as no chef would send this dish out of their kitchen as it was served up to me.Dessert was almost as d... View all feedback.

After having had an average first experience, the improvements we saw on this visit were definitely worth commenting on. Lovely, attentive customer service from Lara, beautifully presented, tasty food and comfortable surroundings. The new winter menu is delicious - i would recommend the delectable duck waffle and also the hotcakes. Stay for a cuppa and enjoy the beautiful view over the vineyard and city skyline. Thank you for an enjoyable morning out for brunch.
The decor of the restaurant is minimalist, very modern and casual. This tends to make it loud. It also tends to make it feel cold, (even though it might not be), on a foul winter's day. Be prepared to be seated with others at a long bench table. The wines were lovely. The food itself could not be faulted. Only five courses to a tasting menu, but how could you get it so wrong? The main courses were switched around, so the beef, which should have come out after the fish, came out first. Then the fish arrived two minutes later and sat there getting cold whilst we ate the beef. No one seemed to notice the mistake, or care, and no one offered to take the fish away and cook it fresh. On top of that we had a waiter who either refused to, or could not, understand and carry out instructions. All in all, not impressed.
Our friend's 69th birthday. What a great way to taste Penfolds wines. We enjoyed our lunch but are finding it hard to recall what we ate. With one exception: birthday boy had the beautifully tasting Chicken which was raw nearest the bone. Not the pink on the bone, which happens with slow cooking, but pink meat. Waiter was called over who insisted that that was the way it should be served. We weren't consoled but were too merry to argue. Service was a little slow. Pleasant ambience although felt a bit cafeteria-ish with little kids, babes-in-arms and tourists.I would go back, and recommend it to any traveler who would like the winery tasting experience so close to the city.
If you want to indulge yourself with a leisurely lunch with great food and wine, or just call in for a coffee and cake I can recommend that this restaurant be put onto your "must do" list. Situated at the top of Magill Road this relatively new restaurant provides great views with good food and excellent wines. Before or after your meal you can indulge in the wine tasting right next door.
