The meal was inedible. There was no check back from the staff, and the service was poor. We will not be returning to dine here again. It is a shame to see the decline in quality at this establishment.

The food was delicious - some of us had the king prawn skewers with couscous, while one person tried the celeriac dish from the special menu. I highly recommend trying the specials.

I visited their gender neutral restroom after a man had used it and encountered a puddle of urine in front of the toilet, a dirty seat, and no hook to hang my bag. I felt very uncomfortable. It seemed that the restaurant ignored the fact that men tend to be messier than women and dismissed my concerns in the name of being "inclusive".

View amazing if you are in a window ,... read more Lovely cafe the best scone I've had in a long time . Warm scone lashings of jam and real double cream . And a good coffee. View amazing if you are in a window , staff are very pleasant and welcoming. The museum is fantastic and free , I was very surprised by what was in there . The staff on the reception as you enter are very chatty and explain things to you . There is also a lift to take you one floor up to the cafe .
