Historic Bbq - Ross

I want to talk about Historic BBQ and their brisket. I have been following them on Yelp for a couple of years and noticed that there hadn't been a new review in six years. I started following them on Instagram in the hopes of finding out when and where I could try their brisket. I was a bit hesitant at first because their website mentions that they are official BBQ competitors, but I was really just interested in the flavor and texture of their food. Finally, I had the chance to talk to Tony and his dad, who were both super friendly and knowledgeable about BBQ. The service was quick, and I was able to pick up my food within minutes despite all my questions. Tony and his dad clearly love making people happy with their BBQ. Their trailer was parked at the Common Beer Company on Main Street, and they mentioned that they will be there on the 4th Sunday of every month. The brisket was delicious; it was so good that we had it for dinner that day and made brisket and cheese quesadillas with the leftovers the next night. The meat was perfectly cooked, with a faultless bark and juicy, flavorful meat. They warned me that they had just sold out of ribs when I arrived, so I'll have to plan better next time. I will definitely be back to support this local family-owned business.

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend at this restaurant. Jack Paladino was not our usual waiter, but he was very friendly and accommodating, sharing many recommendations with us. The breakfast was delicious and we really appreciated the friendly presence of his dog Barnum. We will definitely be returning!

They tacked on an extra $105 in fees without explanation and refused to answer when I questioned it!

Loved my stay in the cashtown the last two nights thanks, jack, for their restaurants sightseeing suggestions, the amazing breakfast, and for the instruction, 997 this morning on my way to ohio it was beautiful no traffic!

We came back after a visit ten years ago to stay back in the robert e lee suite! what a great experience and visit! yes, we had paranormal experiences in this wonderfully kept very historical shade. better still was the time and attentiveness of the wet jack palladino gave us with its first class hospitality and history count! a great gourmet breakfast and visit with jack and marias dog barnum made it another visit to remember in the cashtown. we hope to be back this time much earlier than ten years!
