I had really high hopes for lunch today.The new look is warm, welcoming and super clean. However, the combo plate that I had was almost tasteless. It was a bit shocking, actually.I specifically ordered different meats (steak and carnitas) and held off on the hot sauce so I could let the natural flavors come out as the chef designed it.I'm still puzzled about this. Outside of a bit of char, the entire meal tasted like canola oil.This may sound dramatic, but hear me out.If I was a blind man with a fork I would have no idea what I ordered. Even though I got a combo plate, the only difference from item to item was the texture.Honestly, I wondered if I had COVID and my taste buds were shot. Then I came home, had some Tajin and wished that I had brought it with me!Normally, I wouldn't write a negative review like this.Like I said, I had high hopes for Jimboys to be as amazing as the atmosphere. The people were very helpful, and the decor is wonderful. 5-stars for both, but I don't go there for the sparkling floors. I am only giving this detailed of a review because I *want* it to be great!Signed,Hopeful for next time

Spent $30 dollars got 6 tacos and barely had any cheese when talked to manager I said that just a little side container would make me happy enough to spread over the 6 tacos but rudly would not acomidate and walked away!!place service sucks!!!!Food: 2/5

My husband and I used to eat Jimboys. We enjoyed their taco burgers (my husband's favorite) and I usually got the original taco which I though they made the best tacos. However, recently when we ordered the taco burger's regular taco, they tasted differently. I don't know if they've changed their recipe or cook but it's not worth getting anymore. One thing is the hamburger meat is often very well done almost burnt the taco burgers are devoid of the sauce they used to put on them which made the taco burger. Sadly, we will not be frequent this establishment again.
