Martha Meidell - Rosendal

Beautiful old hotel with views of the fjord and the marina. our room was spacious and clean. the staff was very helpful and showed us on an excellent walk that we could reach from the hotel to foot. we had a lazy evening on the deck.

Great to chill out in the sunshine on the terrace after a long day skiing. Good food, and a nice view over the fjord. The service was not the most efficient as counting up to 16 seemed a little problematic. I stayed here a few times previously, which has been a good experience... although lack of a drying room can be frustrating if you've been hiking.

A nice hotel for a reasonable price. we were in a double room and the bed was very comfortable. wifi warns the strongest but functional. shared bathroom was very nice and never a line, if necessary. the breakfast was better than most Norwegian hotels. the staff was very friendly. we also ate in the restaurant for dinner; everything in my party was very satisfied. the hotel is on the main road definitiw and the biggest part was the extreme sound of willbe f1 driving ahead.

This is one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've ever had. on this place are so many things wrong. we were in the second most expensive room the double room with private bathroom. wlan didn't work long during our stay. the host made it up to ask and explained how much the wlan had cost, which was not really relevant. the room is located in the backyard of the hotel, which was really disappointing, as the hotel has an amazing view of the fjord. we expected that the second most expensive room would have part of this view. own toilet/bath is quite simply a glass case in the room means that moisture is everywhere in the room after the shower. the lighting from the bathroom also illuminates the rest of the room. the bathroom door was not properly closed, so prepared for a very intimate stay with its partner. there was also no shampoo, conditioner or hair dryer in the room. light switch for the bathroom lay above the room, so it is impossible to go to the bathroom without seeing its partner in the night. curtains were missing in a window and the front door had large gaps in which cold air could enter. the breakfast was extremely disappointing and not sufficient for a normal man. the only reason this place gets 2 stars is because the interieur is really modern and the beds are beautiful. we cannot recommend this place and recommend to everyone to stay away from here. the price is not worth.

Very impressed! eating was amazing; ingredients arranged to add their taste buds in every bite. service was great. there is no menu, they only have the choice of the day that there are only 2 in the night in which we tremble, but I have no regret. the manager was very attentive and personal. we would have liked to visit again, but we found this jewel yesterday in norman. highly recommended.
