When I paid the cashier, I received 2 bags of food in less than a minute, which was unusual for Harvey's (where the wait usually seems to last forever). I decided to eat in the parking lot and found the bread to be quite hard and the hamburger tasted like it was prepared in advance. I returned to the restaurant and politely asked for a fresh burger. The cashier gave it to someone who claimed to be a manager, but when I told him the bread was still hard, he became defensive and started arguing with me. Eventually, he grudgingly agreed to make me a new sandwich. This experience has left me extremely disappointed, especially considering the current challenges restaurants are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic. I will not be returning to this particular Harvey's location on Cure Labelle in Rosemere. Customers should not have to deal with rude and unprofessional staff, especially after spending almost $50 on a meal. I hope the owner of this restaurant addresses the issue and provides better training for their employees. This was the first time I have ever felt compelled to write a negative review about a restaurant.
