Our first time to visit Rosemary Beach. Friends told us about Pescado. Super friendly folks. Our first waiter was Nathan. He was fantastic. Super friendly great suggestions for the drinks and food. I do think I surprised him when I told him I wanted a second piece of the Apple Carmel Cheesecake lol. But I couldn’t just have one slice lol. What Katie M doesn't like about The Courtyard At Pescado:
It is cute. Very girls dinner beach chic vibe. We only came for dessert and drinks, both of which were not good. Hard pass on an Espresso Martini and the Crème Brûlée. Can't speak to anything else though. View all feedback.
Reserved for my Birthday dinner, while visiting Rosemary Beach. The hostess downstairs and the hostess upstairs are very unfriendly. This is Rosemary Beach, not Hollywood! Requested indoor table, was initially given hi-top table, outside, which was uncomfortable. Asked for a “normal” table, which luckily, they had, although the chairs are super uncomfortable. Ordered a Cosmopolitan and have no clue what was in it, but it wasn’t a Cosmo. Sent it back and even the bartender said it was awful. Food is mediocre at best and overpriced. Kept waiting for some mention of my birthday, since I told them when I reserved our table… nothing. Quite disappointing, to say the least! There are so many other options in RB, Pesdado is expensive, loud and not worth the hype. Sorry!
Rain or shine, the view here is worth it! Things you should know:I. PARKINGThere is free street parking along N Barrett Square. If there are no spaces available when you arrive, then there's 3 hour parking on New Providence Lane. II. SERVICE Our server was attentive, great at refilling our glasses and gave recommendations based off of experience. We really enjoyed being under his care. The hostess was also noteworthy. We didn't have a reservation but she still put effort to see if there was a table available for us. Honestly, she could have just turned us away since it was a busy Friday night. Glad she didn't! III. QUALITY Yes, the food is pricey but the dishes are palatably well paired, thought out, and presented appealingly. You will not have any regrets because the whole experience (view and flavor) is worth it. We visited on a rainy day and seeing Rosemary Beach from above was still worth it! IV. CAPACITY Weekends are busy. I highly recommend making a reservation we just happened to get lucky without one.
Pescado in Rosemary Beach is known for its rooftop bar reservations recommended for the restaurant and the rooftop is first come first serve with an amazing view of Rosemary Beach and the Gulf of Mexico. I've visited for dinner and most recently visited for brunch. They serve brunch classics and sandwiches. The drinks were great and I like that they have a full mocktail menu as well (which I partook of this day because it was so hot outside). The presentation of the food was good I had the fish sandwich which was average (not much flavor on the fish) and the French toast was excellent! The server was good and gave good drink recommendations she just wasn't very attentive after we received our food. The restaurant is clean chic and bright so even not sitting on the rooftop terrace is a treat. I would recommend for dinner on the rooftop (watching the sunset there is amazing)Challah French ToastGrilled Fish Sandwich
Had a girls weekend and decided to go out for drinks in town. The first impression of the bar is absolutely beautiful, sitting among the wonderful holiday decorations. Our server was very attentive however there is one thing that could have been better. The four of us had two espresso martinis each. When we received this bill our jaws dropped. When we asked for espresso martinis we asked for baileys an he offered an alternative which was Carolan's. We were not given a warning that we would be up charged for this decision. A bottle of Carolan's is less than $25 dollars, we were charged $19 per Martini in addition to $6.50 per drink for a shot of Carolan's on each round. A grand total of $57 per person for 2 drinks...this is absurd and I will tell anyone to proceed with caution when ordering drinks from this establishment.
