Very delicious food. All right. Mac and cheese were disappointing, not especially, and rice had no taste. Wünsch that they would pour the sauce of the Rucks/course/ whatever you got on the rice because it makes 1000% better. The curry chicken was my favorite. Great house cooked meals you will love. Better than some others I've tried in the past.

It's here for lunch in town. The shrimps Roti was good. The place is on the small side. Sitting is very limited. Think there were only two tables. There was also no bathroom for customers. Try them definitely, probably take your food to go. I can recommend the shrimp Roti and my co-workers like his goat rot.

Absolutely was greeted with love. The older lady who served me was so nice. I love supporting small businesses like these. I wanted to drink the hibiscus. Anyway, it goes back. Jerk Chicken was good. Oxtails were also great. I usually eat Jamaican food from GoldenCrust in Irvington. And some spots in Plainfield. I have to give this point 9.5. Owners are welcoming and loving. See if you're in the area.

I have been to Jamaica but this restaurant has some of the best Jamaican food I have ever tasted. I have been a loyal customer for years, both at work and at home, because the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and always makes me feel welcome, despite the sometimes chaotic kid-friendly atmosphere.

GrubHub provided excellent service, being punctual and polite. However, Shawnies' customer service was rather disappointing. I was looking forward to trying a new Caribbean restaurant in the area, but my excitement was dampened when my order arrived without the mac and cheese side dish I had ordered. Despite this, I called the restaurant to inform them of the missing item. The person who answered the phone showed no concern for my issue, simply stating that I would need to come pick it up and that there was nothing they could do. What frustrated me the most was the lack of apology for their mistake. I will not be returning to Shawnies. Additionally, the oxtails were overcooked and mushy.
