Wonderful service, home made cooking by the owner. Lovely environment, decor old world. Can sit inside or outside on the verandah with a lovely garden. Great for morning or afternoon tea or lunch. Fantastic high tea although you must book. Can book for functions. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Victoria Rose Tea Rooms:
Dropped in for lunch last Thursday. The restaurant had one table with 6 people, who were ordering as we came in. Decor is nice and the garden is lovely. Service was atrocious. We ordered and waited....and waited...and waited! The table of 6 was loud and raucous, but got their meals well before us. This restaurant is very cozy. I went there with my partner and his mother, and we loved the peaceful atmosphere created by the warm interior and beautiful garden. The staff made us feel very welcome, and I also indulged in a delicious cake. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning.
This restaurant is a wonderful spot to spend some time. You can unwind in the beautiful gardens or cozy up inside. The menu offers something for everyone, and the staff is very friendly.
The owners were very helpful. I had a baked potato, which is not something you can find everywhere. The owner also bakes delicious European cakes. I sat in the backyard under a beautiful tree in the sunshine. Rosedale is definitely a restaurant worth visiting.
