Food was pretty good. Prices were reasonable. Will defiently eat here again.
Got the pork carnitas burrito. At $7 I'd say it's very reasonably priced. However, it continues the trend of Oregon burritos being 70% rice. The burritos I'm used to from Chicago and Texas don't have rice at all. Just a preference, can't fault the food truck, was still a great burrito.
I ordered street tacos and was unfortunately disappointed. It was extremely greasy, and didn't have much flavor. I had to over salsa them to get over the taste of grease. I'm unsure of how many corn tortillas is the correct amount, but I've never received street tacos that didn't have a second tortilla wrapped with the taco until now. With the addition of the grease, I was basically eating a taco salad at that point. Maybe I'll give them a second shot in the future. As I don't live in the area.
Truck tacos are the best! Max's are stripped down to the most important stuff: meat and tortillas with onions and cilantro. At $2.50 each, they are a great deal if not haut cuisine. I'd like to try the meals. From what I've seen, they look really good. Try Max's and see for yourself!
