We had a delicious dinner at Chen's Family Dish! First time patrons. We were welcomed and seated right away in our choice of table or booth. Good size restaurant. Very clean and inviting. Our waiter was amazing. No frills, but very attentive and a multi-tasking master! What Phillip F doesn't like about Chen's Family Dish:
It's not impressive. My family keeps dragging me back. Fried rice has nothing extra, flavorless, and un impressive. Literal white rice. Tried sweet and sour soup, way too much corn starch slurry, and so strange, get the corn flavored egg droo slurry instead. Sweet and sour pork dry and overbreaded, over 50% breading. Mar far chicken similar and greasy. They will crank out your party on a Friday, though. View all feedback.
Wonderful food! It was very good. The crabs were amazing and the pork bread was the best I had! The only drawback was the slow service. We demanded twice a refill on tea before it came and they did not refill our waters. They were moderately busy, but not so busy to stop and check if we needed anything.
The tofu kung Pao was delicious and fresh. Just the right amount of spicy. Also the egg foo yung was made fresh and had a delicious gravy over the top. Great place for fresh food and great atmosphere.
Probably best Chinese food in town. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was superb flavorful, hearty, and full of veggies. Their General Tso?s was also surprisingly delicious and perfectly prepared, flavored, and cooked; the breading to chicken ratio was spot on. Only downside was the rice was dry.
The food is amazing. The staff are very friendly and professional. It is clean. Service is quick. The food is reasonable priced. They deserve a 5* rating. I recommend this place for food. We done. You Rock!!!!
Chens always has the best tasting food. They are our #1 go to restaurant. The food is very fresh, and is handmade. Love the menu options. Have loved every dish I?ve tried so far!
