The menu mainly features comforting, home-style dishes, and only cash is accepted for payment. If you're interested in an expanded menu, you’ll need to place a call two days in advance. I won't reveal too much more, as that would take away from the thrill of discovery—it’s like being on an Indiana Jones adventure!

What Simona Moldovan doesn't like about Café Gembira:
It felt more of a lunch time place than evening dinner. The service wasn't great. At one point we were the only customers there, yet the food order didn't come out as requested. The restaurant lacked atmosphere. The quality of the food was below average. Don't think it was good value for money, and we were disappointed by the overall experience. The manager was polite and tried to be helpful. View all feedback.
The food was delicious and the price was so affordable. Need to wait a little longer so you might want to place order before coming.
One of the best Ayam Goreng i had here in Adelaide. We had Ayam Penyet (Fried Chicken Maryland with a good spread of chilli paste), Ayam Goreng (Fried Chicken Maryland wonderfully done) and Beef Rendang (beef stew with chilli). however, they are only open in the evenings and it is no restaurant, it is a cafeteria in a student hostel, Bradford Lodge.
Obscure cafeteria for student lodging that serves a good and affordable range of home-cooked Indonesia meals around the $10-12 range to dine in or take away. Public can enter the dining room by buzzing at the entry.
Food are tasty, service are quite slow, but worth to wait, it's really good place for a large number of people, plus a friendly price!
Nice service and generous portion, very good value, there is nothing to complain!
