The only times I visit Mc’s The Stand Roscrea are on the rare occasions when I have family visiting. Despite going there around two dozen times, I can't say I’ve ever truly enjoyed my visit. The drinks are fine and the service is decent, but there’s something about the place that doesn’t sit right with me—I just can’t put my finger on what it is. Initially sold me as I was driving past with what seemed to be The Blues Brothers on top. Came in on a slow mid-week afternoon but the atmosphere was still comfortable and staff was friendly.
