good place to visit, have some very cold beers! the service is good, but the food is not like that. try the simple plates like milanesas with fries (French paps), the famous carlito, a classic rosary sandwich (small toast with jam and cheese with ketchup), avoid going Friday or Saturday late afternoon, many people there. What User doesn't like about Bar El Cairo:
Nice atmosphere, full of people, well frequented, historical, with tango music and professor, cold beer, not many dishes on the menu, good pizza ... but, you need patience to be served, to be assisted ... to me, seems the waiter was in a rhythm different to us.. . View all feedback.
I never visited Rosario, I chose the El Cairo completely randomly after a walk through a large part of the city. It was lunchtime. You had a big menu. Food and beverages were super cheap with the US dollar peso exchange rate. Had an excellent calfs parmesan and a boulevard. The service was friendly and impeccable. While waiting for my order, I let a guy light my shoes for $1.50. Unlike so many restaurants, especially in the USA, no one has tried to hurry and pay me. Specifically, I could have spent the afternoon at my main table, although I would probably have had a drink.
Average food, nothing special. Good restaurant considering the quality cost relationship. The service was fast and the waitress was nice.
After we have received first-class service during our stay in Argentina, this is the only restaurant where we found bad service.
I had a record of Oquis with Bolognese sauce. Apart from the flavorlessness of my meal, the sauce was like water, so it was almost half soup. Really terrible. The Italian forefathers would not have been proud...
It is more a bar than a restaurant, small variety of food , no lomo served here, nice employees, good wine, it's big , but better to have seen before you visit.
