Ocean Basket Clearwater - Roodepoort

Desmond took great care of us from start to finish. It was my eldest daughter's birthday and they may have recognized it because the food was delicious and the service was top-notch!

This restaurant used to be a fantastic place and our favorite Ozean Basket. However, it seems like things have changed since it was owned by the Chinese. It appears to be a management issue as the service has declined and the atmosphere is not the same. While the food is still okay, we no longer enjoy dining there due to the lack of engagement from management. It seems like everything is only in order when they are happy. The staff also does not appear to be content. We even had an experience where we were given a bill from the previous day because the waiter forgot to include an item on our original bill. I hope the owners take note of these reviews and address the issues.

Last night, we had a superb seafood platter for two and outstanding service. It was the best dining experience I've ever had. The manager was attentive and the atmosphere was really pleasant. Thank you so much!
