The bread is good. However the viennoiseries get a big no from me. It seems they use the same dough for them, as the one they use for their bread. It ends up being very doughy, dense and heavy, not at all what I expect from a Croissant. The bread is good. However the viennoiseries get a big no from me. It seems they use the same dough for them, as the one they use for their bread. It ends up being very doughy, dense and heavy, not at all what I expect from a Croissant. It should be airy, flaky, buttery and have a golden yellow color on the inside, not the brown/beige of a sourdough. Prices are also high considering the location (mostly for the pastries, bread is reasonable), similar to what I expect to pay in the best bakeries in Aarhus center.
Excellent bread and pain au chocolat
A good bakery that unfortunately cannot compete with the very best.
Perhaps the best sourdough bread out there.....you should try to taste it for yourself.
