Antica Trattoria Fattori - Ronca

In Florence, restaurants abound. All say the same thing and all hype their fare as being the best. This restaurant was suggested by the concierge at our hotel. He said that it had the classic look. It had a great wait staff and delicious food. So we tried it and all the above are true. The wait staff was entertaining and provided a very pleasant atmosphere to make for an enjoyable evening. Huge portions, good wine and the food was excellent. We were never rushed. It was a very pleasant all around dining experience. If you have to pick one that covers all the bases,this is it in Florence.

Just spent a week with family and friends in the Veneto Region and this little gem on the way to Verona is well worth a visit. It is a family run place. From the very hospitable owners to the lovely staff you will leave here feeling enlightened , full and very much wanting to come back. Everything is made in house. Absolutely one of the best meals we have had ever!

Had a very enjoyable lunch here. It struck us as a real hidden gem and we experienced dishes we hadnt seen on other menus in the area (horse fillet, donkey stew, duck ragu) Everything was delicious and the accompanying vegetables were exceptional. Enjoyed the food with 1/2 bottle of delicious ripasso from a vineyard down the road. Would highly recommend
