I placed an order through Deliveroo, but the restaurant uses their own drivers, so I was instructed to call the restaurant directly. Despite being only 6 minutes away, I was unable to go there personally as I was at work. When I called the restaurant, they informed me that the driver had left 10 minutes before my call, even though the restaurant is only a 6-minute drive away and he still had not arrived. This made no sense to me. After waiting 60 minutes for my food to arrive, it still had not come. The restaurant advised me to contact Deliveroo for a refund, but Deliveroo told me to speak with the restaurant. When I called the restaurant again, instead of apologizing for their mistake, the employee rudely suggested that I ask my manager for an extra lunch break or quit, and then proceeded to laugh. This kind of customer service is unacceptable. I will never recommend this place again. If you want to risk losing your money and receiving terrible customer service, then go ahead. Otherwise, I suggest going to Nandos for better value and customer service – plus, it’s the same food! What a joke! Improve your service!

I was excited to hear they were now offering delivery, but I was extremely disappointed with the quality. The chicken was cold and the chips were like cardboard. It felt like a complete waste of money. I understand that businesses are trying to make up for lost revenue due to the closures, but charging £20 for a whole chicken and 2 sides for takeout is outrageous. Have they not seen the competition? There are plenty of other peri peri places that offer much better deals, like a tasty meal for £11.49 with plenty of food.
