The menu was thoughtfully curated with a wide variety of options. The presentation was impeccable and they had a great selection of teas with refills, as well as coffee. The scones with homemade strawberry jam and plant cream were a standout, along with delicious cakes and sweets. The lentil, carrot, and cashew soup was a crowd-pleaser, and there were plenty of sandwich options, a veg tart, and vegan caviar on crackers for more substantial fare. The quirky and colorful decor at Forge Cottage added to the welcoming ambiance. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic about veganism, and seemed genuinely committed to improving their vegan offerings. The personal service made us feel valued and we were delighted with our vegan afternoon tea experience. The cost was £25 per person and they only accept cash payments.

The presentation of all the dishes was exceptional. They had a great selection of teas, with refills included, as well as coffee. The scones were particularly delicious, served with homemade strawberry jam and two types of plant-based cream. There were also many other tasty cakes and sweet treats available. The lentil, carrot, and cashew soup was incredibly flavorful. In addition to a variety of sandwiches, there was a vegetable tart and vegan caviar on crackers for those looking for more savory options. The décor in the Forge Cottage Tea Room was charming and colorful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and showed a genuine interest in veganism, eager to improve their vegan offerings.
