We ate outside and probably should've... read more We used our TripAdvisor app to help us find good pizza nearby. This lovely place was just down the street from our hotel! We ate outside and probably should've eaten inside since it was very hot on the day of our visit! (BTW the parents that let their toddler watch their phone at a very high volume so that they can enjoy a meal without distraction should be greatly discouraged! The prosciutto pizza was amazing and the perfect size for two to share. Paired with a nice bottle of red wine, it made for the perfect lunch stop. We appreciated that with the heat, the wine as a bit on the warm size and they brought a bucket with ice to chill it for a few minutes making it much more drinkable. We wish we would've stopped back for dinner as the menu looked very enticing!

For dinner we had the linguine marinara- one the best we’ve had in a long time. However what makes Clavida special is the service, it’s exceptional. Highly recommend.

I ordered the salmon — it was cooked well, but had almost no taste at all. I only finished it because I was hungry. My boyfriend ordered a steak, but we were never asked how he wanted it cooked. It arrived basically raw, very hard to chew, and also lacked flavor. After we mentioned that the food was not okay, we were offered a free tiramisu, which was appreciated, but we still had to pay an €8 service charge despite the poor experience. The staff member serving us was also not welcoming. Ouh and no starter, even the bread was not offered before the main dishes. 8€ also for 6 slices of potato. Overall, very disappointing for the price. We left the restaurant feeling really sad and dissatisfied.
