We had a late lunch before braving queues to the Basilica and it was delicious! I particularly enjoyed the tomatoes on my pasta dish, tastiest morcel I've had on my trip!

A very nice place to have dinner in this neighbourhood. The spaghetti cacio e pepe were good, and the starter which was squid cooked a la plancha on, if I remember correctly, a bed of saffron-infused polenta, was delicious.

Very friendly staff. We ordered the Carbonara, amatriciana, and eggplant parmigianna. All were really delicious. Only thing is that their Guanciale is very salty and our two main pasta dishes use Guanciale and it made the dish just a little bit salty.

I'm sad to say that it was disappointing. I would give it a 3.5 if I could. The reviews were so good and the interior is clean and tidy. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful, but the taste was rather average. Starter burrata was creamy but heavy and not complex in flavor, the tomatoes served with it were tasteless and watery (Dutch style . I would have loved to see either cherry tomatoes or rich Roma tomatoes with it. The carbonara was heavy and the guanciale was overfried, super dry. Overall a bit overwhelming, the same for the cacio e Pepe. Tiramisu was decent though :

We were looking for a good restaurant, near St. Peter's Cathedral to eat a good Roman pasta, and we chose this one based on the reviews. It was a rainy and cold day and the owner insisted that we stay outside, claiming that they had the entire room reserved starting at 19:00 (it was 18:30) and ended up accepting after our insistence, we left at 20:30 and the room was always empty although everyone customers who arrived later have sat outside. With the meals, we were not impressed, the folders were too simple, not to end up on the negative note, we liked the tiramissu. In the end, the price was wrong and they charged 10 euros for two limoncellos although the menu was 3 euros each, the value is meaningless but the attitude ...
