Cody assisted me in getting day passes for my visit. He was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the resort and would answer questions without hesitation. What Sightsee23683807717 doesn't like about Playin' A Round Café:
Went to stay in the cabins. Cabins were ok. Air conditioning was adequate and room was ok. But the pool on the other hand was hot. The water was hot. Don’t know why but water was very warm. The facilities are not what you see on the website. They are all really there but a picture can’t describe what the grounds look like as well as what the status of the place is. 2 hours of waiting for the room to be cleaned and revised just for it to be full of spiders and bugs. My aunts room also had the same issue. Got taken to another room, same story. My mother just wanted to enjoy her birthday and this hotel could not live up to expectations. The guy who helped us kill all the spiders hinted that its a usual experience in this hotel. Attached an image with the spot with the most bugs but the entire ceiling was full of them. How can a room that was cleaned and even revised be this full of bugs? Hotel gave us a 124 dollar chocolate platter that was already opened to try to make up for it. I would much rather have had my money back if I 'm being honest. Not a happy birthday experience for my mother in her birthday. The rest of the hotel is fine and we had a nice time but it wasn 't a nice experience changing rooms at 12 am because of all the spiders just to be met by more.
The front desk assistant took our credit card upon arrival and swiped it with no explanation of fees. She then attempted to rush us away when we asked for more information. The elevator situation is horrible. You must wait in a muggy lobby for sometimes 30 minutes to access the elevator, which is also muggy. Our sliding glass door in the room was broken and does not lock. The shower does not drain appropriately and could take up to 10 minutes. Housekeeping does not come to the room just incase you’re expecting that. At the on-site Landshark Bar and Grill, we waited 5 minutes to be greeted and seated. Once seated, we waited 10-12 minutes for a server to come and take orders. He assured us our waitress would come help soon. Near the end of our dining experience, she explained she had an 11 top to serve prior to helping us. Being busy is understandable, however there should be a balance of service for all paying guests and adequate customer service training to match. After a hard dose of racial discrimination at the pool via staff, we finally decided enough was enough and checked out a day early.
Great amenities, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and great room size. I was very impressed with the quality of the resort. Room felt like a mini apartment, loved it! Loved the separate pools, kids and adults; felt like two different places. Food and drink were delicious. Valet was super helpful, whether that be driving us around on the golf carts, parking our vehicle, and getting luggage carts to and from our room. Overall absolute great first experience and we will definitely plan to come here again with friends and family. Loved!
The best **** Mary you could ask for especially at 8 am. Great service, great drinks, and crisp air conditioning. What more do you need in life?
Nice! Organized service was great food is fantastic. Host was polite sever was as well. The views are amazing over look lake Conroe. The decor and the bar is perfect. The size of the bar is impressive plenty of seating
