Kitchen 1488 - Roman Forest

First experience here this evening. 2 gumbos, a shrimp po boy, and a chicken and waffle…everyone left happy and stuffed! Teran provided fantastic service and recommendations. We’ll be back to explore more of the menu for sure! Thank you!

I wanted to tryout the best Cajun spice possible at Kitchen 1488. I asked the server, Teron, for suggestions. He recommended The Voodoo Burger, which came packed with 1/2 lbs. patty and to die for sweet potato fries. Absolutely the best tasting lemonade I have ever had, also! The taste was up there with the likes or Rodeo Goat, Dallas, for an exceptional tasting burger. The server was very personable and made me feel right at home. A great server can make all the difference. Thanks again Teron. I will definitely be back the next time I 'm in town.

Great food! Roast beef po'boy is extra great and our beignets were so yummy. Chef and server Taryn were really friendly and took great care of us.

At this family owned resteraunt. We Had the oyster poor boy . It was great. Don’t remember when I had that such great fried oysters

1st time here craving Beignets and creole food. This place went above and beyond my expectations. Food is delicious!!!! Plus the owner is SUPER nice!
