we stopped here in rom on our first day. it is not far from the station termini. looks beautiful from the outside, but the inner is tired. the person served politely and very helpful. we had 2 coffees and 2 cakes, a cannoli and a pickle baked that came to €17 not used the toilets, so can not comment. We wanted to grab a couple of cannoli to eat back at our hotel which was only a few doors down. The staff were nice enough to us but seemed irritated with each other, there was a definite tension in the air. We paid 4 euro ea for 2 cannoli, so 8 euro, which I am ok with if they are good. They were not. I didn’t even eat mine because it was so soggy. It definitely wasn’t fresh and had been sitting there for quite some time. My husband said his was ok and had a little crunch left to it. We had just come from Florence where we had fresh and fabulous cannoli, they were 2.50 euro in the historical and touristy area. I would have gladly paid double for the ones in Florence but what we got in Rome was just not good and not worth the price.
We were conned! Charged a fortune for rank coffee and a stale pastry. The toilets were absolutely filthy. No toilet paper soap or paper towels. We were charged more here for a coffee than at top establishments. I hope this review will stop people being conned like we were.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. The service was horrible and the food was very ordinary. Staff were snobby and obviously do not like tourists.
Niente di eccezionale. Una posizione ottima, pulita ma poco fornita e un po' costosa.
Central position. €1.4 for cappuccino? the service is ok, but the person in the cash is not helpful.
