The... read more This place has a nice atmosphere, elegant art déco style and furniture. We enjoyed some breakfast and drinks here. The coffee and croissants were very good. The prepared food is also good but not overwhelming. They have lots of pasta dishes, chicken, cooked vegetables, great sandwiches at a very good price. The service was friendly and prices were very reasonable. It caters mostly to local people. It's a good place to sit on your laptop, read your magazines and newspapers as many locals do and relax, if you're staying near by. Near to the Ottaviano metro station.

I will tell you that I h... read more We stopped here to have breakfast before entering the Vatican Museums. Ruberto's was open nice and early which was critical to our day. I will tell you that I had some sort of pecan pie type croissant pastry and it was one of the best things I had during my Italy trip! In all of the pastry shops we went to after Rubertos we never saw another. My adult son said his coffee was excellent as well. Oh and fresh OJ... yum! Thanks Ruberto!

The pastries were delicious and very fresh- a lovely slice of local Roman life- highly recommend!
