Crispy crust, wonderful mozzarella, very very tasy. Host came by and chatted with us for our English speaking skills. Left very satisfied, no matter the bill for the food.

A bit off the beaten path in the seaside suburb of Ostia its a wonderful taste of local Rome, without the maddening crowds of downtown Rome. We make it a point to go back every time we visit. The food is always AMAZING and the staff warm and welcoming. I can't say enough good things about the pizza, always made to perfection and with fresh ingredients. And the desserts! You can tell these people know food and will not compromise on quality. I will continue to go back every time I visit!

I spent a week in Rome with friends and after long days touring the city, there was nothing better then to eat at Romolo e Luigi's. The management was so kind and lively, and they made us feel like we were right at home: something that is so important yet hard to find when traveling. You can't go wrong with any of their pizza, whether you choose a classic flavor like Margherita con Proscuttio or an adventurous one like Pizza Massimo. I HIGHLY recommend saving room for dessert (my friends and I each picked different ones and shared). When I think of my time in Rome, I think of sweet and relaxing evenings shared with friends eating delicious food at this restaurant!
