Rec23 Emporio Club - Roma

Some friends and I stopped at the outdoor location for drinks while walking along the river. It has a great atmosphere being next to the river and they were playing good music. The drinks were all good flavours and everyone enjoyed their choice. We ended up enjoying ourselves so much that we stayed for dinner. The vegan apple pie was delicious. It tasted fresh and the vanilla ice cream on top was a great addition. I wish I had eaten two slices! They offer some non alcoholic drinks too which was great. I hope that they come up with even more flavours of non alcoholic smoothies/drinks in the future, they were awesome!

Place was objectively nice in terms of design, furniture and space. Even though it wasn’t overcrowded I found it a bit noisy. Service was ridiculously slow. Drinks price/quality was satisfying but too much time to wait. Not the best place to have a successful conversation.

We live close by this restaurant and we enjoy both to go to this place and to order delivery. Inside it looks cozy and pleasant, the food is always fresh and of a very good quality. And even the delivery (during COVID times and also when we were too lazy to go out) comes hot, fresh and fast.

We had reserved a table earlier on. Had to ask twice for an actual menu, two different waiters just pointed to to the QR code on the table and had to clarify that yes I know but would like an actual menu. We finally order, a starter, two burgers and cocktails for us. What happens then? Our starters and main course arrive at the same time, with drinks following a few mins later. There was no sauce in the burgers and the meat burger which we had asked for medium was well-done and burnt see pic)! For sure there are restaurants that only prepare meat burgers a certain manner, this is usually then communicated by the staff. We had wanted to come and have a nice evening, enjoy starters a drink and then our main course and more drinks, but we just ate quickly since we were hungry and couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Me and my boyfriend went to Rec 23 for dinner. We both took burgers, California burger, and it was super! Nice and very fast service. Recomend for friends and couples, for dinner or drink before party!
