Old Wild West Roma Porta Di Roma

Jay Dessy from New York here. Big steak guy let me tell you. I have eaten tomahawks from Manhattan to Mexico and this little rump joint will make you feel like you’re taking a bite out of a cow’s hind leg. Forget the carbonara if you’re in Rome you need to sink your teeth into Old Wild West’s sweet juicy gristle. And the front of house Romeo was a gent! Will be back for sure on my next Euro adventure!!! I’m Jay Dessy from New York, and this was one of the best days of my life!!!!

Bad management!! it happened many times that they fail to deliver the food in right time. we wait 40 minutes for our order but all the other people arrived later than us and ate and left the restaurant. finally we had to leave without food!!! it's a horrible place.

We, a family of four, visited this restaurant for lunch. It all started with a rather cold welcome. We queued up for quite some time, only to find out that there were plenty of tables available. Once seated, the waitress just threw the menus on the table. At a later stage the cutlery would get a similar treatment. It didn 't look like the staff enjoyed working there... they walked around with blank faces (a smile would have been great), didn 't talk to eachother and on several occasions placed food at the wrong table. The food we ordered looked horrible and was tasteless... the nachos were cold and were topped with just a little cheese and sauce. The burgers didn 't look much better... we think a bricklayer would have been happy to put them in a wall or other structure. The fries were not too bad. We would not recommend this place to anyone.
