La Pollarola - Roma

We found this place online the same night we got to Rome after many many hours flying. It had great reviews and was not far from our hotel . We had an octopus salad and it was amazing , my husband had risotto and I had cannelloni. It’s a pity we didn’t have space for dessert. Everything was delicious.

This was our third trip to this restaurant. It's the best we've been to in Rome. Had an excellent fish and lamb chops, but the fish appetizer was the best. Have had a terrific whole sea bass for two and steak in previous trips.

What a gem! Beautifully prepared fish; excellent house wine; and very helpful staff. Quiet atmosphere. Not to be missed.
