We started the meal with a Spritz that was the best of any in over two weeks in Italy. Our first choice of fish on the menu was out, but the staff proposed baking a whole fish with potatoes and veggies. The chef deboned this wonderful creation at our table- fish was perfect, moist and not a single bone. Staff was welcoming and efficient giving that extra care that makes dining a pleasure.
We visited whilst taking a break from a Hop On/Off site seeing tour. The location was perfect, we sat outside and had a wonderful caprese salad and pizza. The young staff were attentive and when unsure of our post meal coffee order made sure to check. The food was reasonably priced and excellent quality.
The Julian Cafe has excellent food and service at a good price in the Centro historico near the Tiber. It is close to the piazza del’Orologio
We stumbled upon this amazing restaurant in the pouring rain! We were hungry for lunch but not willing to walk far from our hotel. And what a great find! The bruschetta was incredible! And the sea bass was beyond fantastic! The Apple streussel was fabulous too!! Presentation was beautiful and the flavors we simply delicious! The owner and her staff were welcoming, friendly, and very hospitable. We loved it so much, we are going back tomorrow! Memorable meal for sure!
