Inside Out Cafe Lounge - Roma

Been here a few times after a grueling workout and just could not wait to eat. The service is quick and reliable. I usually order a salad with crispy chicken and it is pretty good. They also have sandwiches and wraps. This is basic, cisco type stuff so just knowing that might help adjust expectations. Good place for a quick bite or working lunch on base. Of course, it gets very crowded at times and you may have to wait during peak times.

Food was really good. Thank you especially Lisa and Robert. I heard many compliments from my co students. My only caveat would be the wait. My first day there we waited over 40 mins inline.

Literally the greasiest sandwich I have ever had. It is a very simple restaurant on the Navy base and it is a relaxed casual atmosphere. But the bread on the sandwich was so filled with oil it was hard to get it all off while soaking it up with a napkin several times. When you are on a time crunch sometimes you have to eat fast and get back to work. If you have to do that, don't go here. I won't be back.

The past 3 times I've been here it has been over 30 minutes before receiving my order. Didn't order anything fancy and wasn't on busy times. Rather desolate really. Just a salad. When I brought it up each time they just shrug.

I have eaten here 4 times now. Today service was much slower than normal. I do have to admit they were busier than I have ever seen before. We had ordered at 11:53 and our food arrived at 12:45. I had a 1PM meeting so I rushed through the meal. We did ask 3 times where our food was. The crowd had cleared and still no food. I finally asked for a manger and then things moved quickly. Although not the Food Manager he made it right. He refunded our money and gave us a coupon for a free next meal visit. I was happy with his fix of my problem but the issue will probably not change. The food staff got overwhelmed and according to the outside Manager should have asked for help. They were a rudderless ship that ran aground! Due to Military operations they could very easily overwhelmed again. The great thing about this place is despite having a captive audience (no other good food for miles) they serve pretty good food. I have only had there Burgers and they are delicious. They have quality patties and and good fresh ingredients. The fries are crisp and tasty. I worry they will continue to let their service slip. Bad service can kill even a on base restaurant. That would be a shame.
