Oh my word!!! What a great little find in the streets of Rome. We stumbled upon this place when looking for somewhere to have dinner. What Caio Barone doesn't like about Fiaschetteria Beltramme:
We came because of the high reviews and Trip Advisor label, but our dinner was so disappointing. The grilled vegetables were well grilled, but it lacks salt and too oily. The pasta tasted salty and lacked the sweetness from the shell. The veal steak texture was not bad (not too tough), but it also lacks salt. I ate here twice (yes, twice) during my visit to Rome in April 2018. I remember eating was pretty good and had a very domestic quality. The service was also pretty good. I'd go back there next time in Rome.
Beautiful food and authentic taste of Italy and Rome! Had the best Ravioli Pasta with Spinach and Arrabbiata Pasta and Pizza.
Authentic and very good homemade pasta. One of the best pasta I've ever eaten. I knew that Rome was famous for its good pasta like fetters and bigoli, but in this restaurant all dishes are fantastic delicious. Fiaschetteria Beltramme is located near Piazza Spagna and in the heart of the Cento Storico, and easy to find. There are few tables, but the atmosphere is perfect and authentic. The service is good and quality. We ate broschette in various combinations, mixed cheese and salami, and everything was very delicious. Then we ate 4 types of pasta and all were absolutely perfect. Prices are very reasonable (Pasta are 10-14 euros). Very recommended for everyone.
Food was tasty and portions were big. We had to wait over an hour for our meal, however after a while we got some appetizers for free for the wait. The staff were really nice and professional.
I think that some of the bad restaurants reviews refer to the neighbor restaurant with quite overacting waiter trying to convince every bypassing person to get in. Here the waiters are polite and professional. I will try some pasta soon. 2€ Service on the bill but the waiter said tip is not included, so be prepared ; . I tried pasta the next day and it was overcooked and average. So 3 stars, but the location is nice.
