My wife and I were very excited to eat a testaccio for our 35-year anniversary, but were disappointed by the experience. we ate in four michelin restaurants dur... read more My wife and I were very excited to eat a testaccio for our 35-year anniversary, but were disappointed by the experience. we ate in four michelin restaurants during our last trip to rom. our experience in felice was with distance the worst. we took care of our reservation in time and were immediately taken care of in front of the lady room near the cleaning supplies and a fire extinguisher in a small crooked table, with a seat in the wall. I asked myself to be moved and we were moved to an acceptable table by the kitchen. we ordered a bottle of franciacorta. it was excellent. we then ordered two appetizers büffel mozzarella and auberginen and two nice artichoke and spargel and two orders from cacio and pepe as our main course. the brot, the appetizers and the sweet came out at the same time. we were very fast. the buffalo mozzarella was delicious. the artichoke was good, but small, we ate several Roman style and Jewish artichokes while in rom. No one was as small as the one small artichoke, which we definitely not worth the money. the aubergine was good. the economical was also good, but cold. the cacio and pepe came out while we still ate the appetizers. I thought it was excellent. my wife thought it was okay. I had eaten cacio and pepe a few times before and thought that was the best. We shared a rest time that was good. Actually, we would have done much better with the carbonara. my kalb was okay, but the kartoffels were so normal. the Black Forest Gala was the best we cost; also ice cream good. we would have forgiven everything if we hadn't felt that they just wanted us in, out and left our money. I would never recommend felice to everyone. don't waste your time and your money. go instead to pizzeria ostiense cheap, cheerful and excellent pizza. we are so restless with felice, we have a failure to other Roman expensive restaurants. we see each other in pizzeria ostiense!
