This place is absolutely amazing- the food, the wine , the service impeecable. You can tell the owners take pride in everything from the olive oil to the bread to the dessert. It is a hidden gem, and yes away from the tourists. You feel like a priveldged visitor here, and there is not rush or time at all. Highly recommend. View all feedback.

Really disappointed- the food was ok but the service was terrible. They had our wrong reservation date, brought us the wrong wine, it took so long to get the waiter back we decided to ask for the bill instead of dessert. The bill never came, so we wrapped up and paid at the bar. And yes, I am well aware the majority of places have you pay as you leave, but this restaurant does not do that. The best pasta in Rome! Absolutely wonderful food made by the owner’s sister! She also makes the desserts, which are excellent! Very lovely, relaxed atmosphere with great service. We were unsure of which wine to order and our waitress was very helpful, she gave us an excellent recommendation. I will certainly return here next time I come to Rome.
We had dinner at this restaurant for our last night in Rome. The quality of the ingredients was the best of any restaurants we had in Rome in any of our trips. Service was impeccable, polite, professional and yet very friendly. Despite looking more upscale, and having only home made pasta and quality ingredients (often organic), prices are the same as in any Roman eatery. We are saddened not to have found this place before.

From the east is always a joy to have lunch, dinner, or even drink a quick cappuccino in the morning, before starting a busy day!
